Sifu Chris has been involved in Chinese Martial Arts for over 30 years, and teaching Tai Chi Chuan for the last 21 years.
He is a member of the International Taijiquan and Wushu Assocation (I.T.S.W.A.) and the national head of Tai Chi Chuan for the Chinese Martial Arts and Health Centre ( C.M.A.H.C.) of South Africa.
Originating from a long history, it is essentially a system of exercise routines utilising postures based upon Traditional Chinese Martial Arts that, due to their pace, nature and structure promote health, strength and vitality within the regular practitioner.
Tai Chi can assist in improving balance, coordination, muscle tone, flexibility,and mobility, while simultaneously calming the mind and spirit.
Tai Chi also offers people a safe, viable alternative who due to age, injury or illness may be limited in exercise opportunities.
